Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Stress Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Dinas Perdagangan Kota Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif dan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket/kuesioner. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 73 karyawan pada Dinas Perdagangan Kota Medan dan penelitian ini menggunakan sampel penelitian Probability Sampling, yang artinya seluruh anggota sebanyak 73 orang di Dinas Perdagangan Kota Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Stress Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Kompetensi dan Stress Kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Dinas Perdagangan Kota Medan. This study aims to determine the effect of competence and work stress on employee performance at the Dinas Perdagangan Kota Medan. This research is an associative research and quantitative research with data collection techniques through a questionnaire. The population in this study amounted to 73 employees at the Dinas Perdagangan Kota Medan and this study used a Probability Sampling research sample, which means that all members were 73 people in the Dinas Perdagangan Kota Medan. The results showed that competence has a significant effect on employee performance. Job stress has a significant effect on employee performance. Competence and Job Stress simultaneously influence Employee Performance at the Dinas Perdagangan Kota Medan.
