Abstract: Kertas kardus merupakan bahan yang sangat mudah ditemukan disekitaran masyarakat, contohnya seperti kardus kotak air mineral, kotak kardus packing bungkus kue, kardus kotak packing peralatan packing peralatan elektronik dan kardus juga banyak digunakan di kalangan masyarakat dalam membuat hiasan meja dan lain-lain. Adapun tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan dalam judul adalah membuat dan memilih konsep rancangan sturktur kardus penyerap energi yang diperkuat serat tanaman suku palmae, Membuat virtual prototype 3D struktur penyerap energi yang diperkuat serat tanaman suku palmae dan Simulasi beban impak terhadap struktur kardus penyerap energi yang diperkuat serat tanaman suku palmae. Pada proses penelitian judul skripsi ini metode yang digunakan metode observasi, dimana metode ini menggunakan observasi lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah struktur kardus yang digunakan lebih mudah, dan praktis yang dimana karena lebih hemat waktu dan tidak memerlukan alat tambahan dan melalukan proses desain kardus yang digunakan dengan teknologi 3D dan Software solidwork untuk mempermudah melakukan Teknologidan Informasi. Cardboard is a material that is very easily found in the community, such as mineral water box cartons, cake packing box cartons, packing box cartons for packing electronic equipment, and cardboard is also widely used in the community to make table decorations and so on. The objectives of the research conducted in the title are to create and select the design concept of the energyabsorbing cardboard structure reinforced with fiber from the Palmae family plant, to create a 3D virtual prototype of the energy-absorbing structure reinforced with fiber from the Palmae family plant, and to simulate the impact load on the energy-absorbing cardboard structure reinforced with fiber from the Palmae family plant. In the research process for this thesis title, the method used is the observation method, where this method uses field observations. The result of this research is that the cardboard structure used is easier and more practical as it is more time-efficient and does not require additional tools. The cardboard design process is carried out using 3D technology and SolidWorks software to facilitate Technology and Information implementation.
