Abstract: | Indonesia merupakan salah satu produsen CPO terbesar di dunia, denganpeningkatan produksi setiap tahunnya. Kelapa sawit memiliki peran pentingdalam menciptakan lapangan kerja dan sebagai sumber devisa negara. Prosespengolahan CPO melibatkan beberapa langkah, termasuk pengepresanmenggunakan screw press untuk memisahkan minyak dari daging buah kelapasawit. Efisiensi tekanan pada proses ini mempengaruhi hasil akhir, dan parameter penting yang perlu dipantau adalah tekanan dan suhu adonan kelapa sawit. Standar suhu proses kempa di pabrik adalah antara 90-100 derajat Celsius. Pengaturan suhu menggunakan uap panas dari boiler. Namun, tekanan dan suhupada screw press berpengaruh pada persentase kerugian minyak (oil losses) danrendemen. Penelitian menggunakan metode regresi linear menunjukkan pengaruhsignifikan antara oil losses, tekanan, dan rendemen. Setelah melakukan analisamaka data yang diperoleh yaitu, oil losses pada ampas screw press dapat disimpulkan pada tekanan 0,04 kPa adalah 5,99%, pada tekanan 0,06 kPa adalah 4,68%, pada tekanan 0,08 kPa adalah 2,37%, pada tekanan 0,10 kPa adalah2,11%, pada tekanan 0,12 kPa adalah 1,98%. Data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara oil losses dan tekanan secara bersama-samaterhadap Rendemen. Indonesia is one of the largest producers of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) globally, with increasing production each year. Oil palm plays a crucial role in creatingemployment opportunities and serving as a source of foreign exchange for thecountry. The CPO processing involves various steps, including pressing using ascrew press to separate the oil from the pulp of the oil palm fruit. The efficiency of pressure in this process affects the final results, and crucial parameters tomonitor are the pressure and temperature of the oil palm dough. The standardprocessing temperature in the plant is between 90-100 degrees Celsius, regulatedusing steam from a boiler. However, both pressure and temperature on the screwpress impact the percentage of oil losses and yield. The research, conducted usinglinear regression, demonstrates a significant influence between oil losses, pressure, and yield. After the analysis, the data reveals that oil losses in the screwpress residue at pressures of 0.04 kPa, 0.06 kPa, 0.08 kPa, 0.10 kPa, and 0.12kPa are 5.99%, 4.68%, 2.37%, 2.11%, and 1.98%, respectively. The dataindicates a substantial combined effect of oil losses and pressure on the yield. |
