dc.description.abstractBahan bakar adalah suatu material yang bisa diubah menjadi energi dengan cara membakar bahan bakar tersebut karena menyimpan energi panas yang dapat dilepaskan dan dimanipulasi. Jenis bahan bakar limbah yang akan digunakan ialah limbah filter rokok, yang bertujuan untuk pengeruh nilai kalor (LHV) bahan bakar terhadap laju komsumsi bahan bakar, serta mengevaluasikan kinerja pembangkit turbin uap skala prototipe berbahan bakar imbah filter tokok. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan eksperimen pada boiler skala prototipe menggunakan bahan bakar filter rokok serta pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode statistic dan Analisis Of Variant. Dalam hasil yang didapatkan bahwa laju komsumsi bahan bakar yang dihasilkan sebesar 22,57% pada tekanan 500 kPa, dan kinerja yang dihasilkan bahan bakar pada tekanan 700 kPa ialah, daya pompa 0,0019 kW, energi masuk 6,967 kW, daya turbin 2,730 kW, daya netto 2,728 kW, dan efesiensi thermal 39,16%. Pada penelitian ini dapat di simpulkan bahan bakar filter rokok memiliki efesiensi bahan limbah filter rokok lebih tinggi dari pada cangkang kemiri. Fuel is a material that can be converted into energy by burning the fuel because it stores heat energy that can be released and manipulated. The type of waste fuel that will be used is cigarette filter waste, which aims to influence the heating value (LHV) of the fuel on the rate of fuel consumption, as well as evaluating the performance of a prototype scale steam turbine generator fueled by cigarette filters. In this research, the method used was an experiment on a prototype scale boiler using cigarette filter fuel and data processing was carried out using statistical methods and Analysis of Variant. In the results obtained, the fuel consumption rate produced was 22.57% at a pressure of 500 kPa, and the performance of the fuel produced at a pressure of 700 kPa was, pump power 0.0019 kW, incoming energy 6,967 kW, turbine power 2,730 kW, net power 2,728 kW, and thermal efficiency 39.16%. In this study, it can be concluded that cigarette filter fuel has a higher efficiency for cigarette filter waste material than candlenut shells.en_US
