dc.description.abstractTanaman cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) Merupakan komoditas holtikultura penting di Indonesia dengan nilai ekenomi yang tinggi. Namun, produktivitasnya sering kali terhambat oleh rendahnya kualitas tanah dan ketersediaan unsur hara penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian biochar kulit durian terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit,dan untuk mengetahui pemberian pupuk kalium terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit serta untuk mengetahui interaksi pemberian biochar kulit durian dan pupuk kalium terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial, yang terdiri atas 2 faktor, yaitu Pengaruh pengaplikasian biochar kulit durian yang terdiri dari 4 taraf dan pupuk kalium (KCL) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf dangan 16 kombinasi dan 2 ulangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian biochar kulit durian dan pupuk kalium serta perlakuan kombinasi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter penelitian cabai rawit. Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is an important horticultural commodity in Indonesia with high economic value. However, productivity is often hampered by low soil quality and nutrient availability. This research aims to determine the effect of providing durian skin biochar on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants, and to determine the application of potassium fertilizer on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants and to determine the interaction of providing durian skin biochar and potassium fertilizer on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants. This research used the Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) method, which consisted of 2 factors, namely the effect of applying durian skin biochar which consisted of 4 levels and potassium fertilizer (KCL) which consisted of 4 levels with 16 combinations and 2 replications. The results of this study indicate that the administration of durian skin biochar and potassium fertilizer as well as the combination treatment did not have a significant effect on the research parameters of cayenne pepper.en_US
