The biggest challenges for small-scale broiler chicken farmers is funding, not knowing how to cultivate it properly and marketing. Partnership is a way to overcome these challenges. The partnership is utilized by the Darussalaam Islamic Boarding School and PT. Charoen Pokphand, who operates a boiler chicken farm in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. The aim of this research is to calculate financial feasibility using Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). In addition, to ascertain how changes in labor costs and feed prices will affect income. With a purposive sampling method, this explanatory research uses a case study. The results show that this boiler chicken farming business is feasible as evidenced by the NPV of IDR 316,719,165, BCR of 1.74, IRR of 25%, and PP for 1.93 years. Results of the sensitivity analysis show most sensitive change is an increase in feed costs. Broiler chicken farmers with a partnership system like Darussalam Islamic Boarding School cannot regulate selling and feed prices, so important to business continuity by maintaining the production produced. Farmers must be able to good cage management and production management in order to produce maximum broiler chicken production. |
