Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pemberian pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.), respon pemberian kompos ampas tebu terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.), dan interaksi pemberian kompos ampas tebu dan pupuk NPK terhadap perumbuhan dan produksi tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yaitu dengan dua Faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu pemberian pemberian pupuk NPK dan faktor kedua yaitu pemberian kompos ampas tebu dengan dosis masing-masing sebagai berikut. Perlakuan pemberian pupuk NPK, terdiri dari: N1: Pupuk NPK 1 ton/ha (100 g/plot), N2: Pupuk NPK 2 ton/ha (200 g/plot), N3: Pupuk NPK 3 ton/ha (300 g/plot). Perlakuan pemberian pupuk kompos ampas tebu terdiri dari: K0: Tanpa pupuk kompos ampas tebu (Kontrol), K1: Pemberian pupuk kompos ampas tebu 10 ton /ha (1 kg/plot), K2: Pemberian pupuk kompos ampas tebu 20 ton/ha (2 kg/plot), K3: Pemberian pupuk kompos ampas tebu 30 ton/ha (3 kg/plot). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Pupuk NPK tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman timun seperti tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot, berat buah per sampel, dan berat buah per plot. Akan tetapi pupuk NPK berpengaruh nyata terhadap umur berbunga tanaman timun. Pemberian pupuk kompos ampas tebu tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman timun, seperti pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, umur berbunga, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot, berat buah per sampel dan berat buah per plot. Kombinasi perlakuan antara pemberian pupuk NPK dan pemberian pupuk kompos ampas tebu tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanamna timun seperti pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot, berat buah per sampel, dan berat buah per plot. Akan tetapi pupuk NPK berpengaruh nyata terhadap umur berbunga tanaman timun. This research aims to determine the response of giving NPK fertilizer to the growth and production of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.), the response of giving bagasse compost to the growth and production of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.), and the interaction of giving bagasse compost and NPK fertilizer on growth and production of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.). This research uses a factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) method, namely with two factors. The first factor is the provision of NPK fertilizer and the second factor is the provision of bagasse compost with the following respective doses. The NPK fertilizer treatment consists of: N1: 1 ton/ha (100 g/plot) NPK fertilizer, N2: 2 tons/ha (200 g/plot) NPK fertilizer, N3: 3 tons/ha (300 g/plot) NPK fertilizer plots). The treatment of providing bagasse compost fertilizer consists of: K0: Without bagasse compost fertilizer (Control), K1: Providing 10 tonnes of bagasse compost fertilizer/ha (1 kg/plot), K2: Providing 20 tonnes/ha of sugarcane bagasse compost fertilizer ( 2 kg/plot), K3: Providing 30 tons/ha (3 kg/plot) of bagasse compost fertilizer. The research results showed that the application of NPK fertilizer did not show a significant effect on the growth and production of cucumber plants such as plant height, stem diameter, number of fruit per sample, number of fruit per plot, fruit weight per sample, and fruit weight per plot. However, NPK fertilizer has a significant effect on the flowering time of cucumber plants. The application of bagasse compost fertilizer did not show a significant effect on the growth and production of cucumber plants, such as growth in plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, number of fruit per sample, number of fruit per plot, fruit weight per sample and fruit weight per plot. The combination of treatments between giving NPK fertilizer and applying bagasse compost fertilizer did not show a significant effect on the growth and production of cucumber plants such as growth in plant height, stem diameter, number of fruit per sample, number of fruit per plot, fruit weight per sample, and fruit weight per plots. However, NPK fertilizer has a significant effect on the flowering time of cucumber plants. |
