Parking is a state of not moving a motor vehicle for a certain period of time according to the circumstances and needs which requires a stopping area organized either by the government or other parties in the form of individuals or business entities. Transportation problem in the city of Lubuk Pakam, especially on Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro, are increasing from time to time, the presence of vehicle parking on the road can reduce the performance of Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro. It is hoped that this observation can determine the performance of the prince Diponegoro road section, especially the level of performance along SDN 108384 – Taqwa Muhammadyah Mosque based of the 1997 MKJI method and the greenshields model. The analysis carried out includes geometric data, accumulated vehicle parking, and vehicle volume. From the results of the analysis obtained on the Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro SDN 108384 – Taqwa Muhammadyah Mosque, it was found that vehicles parked on the road reached 1256 vehicles so that of the three types of vehicles whose speed was disturbed occurred in light vehicles with an average speed of 26,82 km/hour and heavy vehicles at 22,72 km/ hour. The results of the calculation of the greenshields model, the maximum speed of a vehicle when stopped is still classified as very slow at 14,88 km/hour, and the maximum capacity obtained is still relatively large, namely 555,53 smp/hour from an average vehicle volume of 394,91 smp/hour. |
