Abstract: penelitian ini bcrtujuun untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Kepemimpinan dan kinerja karyawan di PT.Kereta Api Rantau Prapat. Populasi dan sampel penelitian terdiri dari 35 karyawan yang dipilih secara total sampling. Variabel Kepemimpinan diukur menggunakan skala yang disusun berdasarkan aspek-aspek Kepemimpinan menurut Artha (2013), yaitu: Atributed Charisma, Idealized lnfluence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, dan Individualized consideration. Sedangkan variabel kinerja karyawan diukur dengan skala Likert yang dikembangkan berdasarkan aspek-aspek kinerja menurut Bernadin dan Russel (Utomo et al., 2006), yaitu: kualitas, kuantitas, ketepatan waktu, efektivitas biaya, kebutuhan pengawasan, dan dampak interpersonal. Peneliti menggunakan skala Guttman untuk mengumpulkan data, yang mengungkapkan kondisi psikologis subjek melalui pemyataan tertulis. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis korelasi product moment, digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel Kepemimpinan (X) dan kinerja karyawan (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifik:an antara Kepemimpinan dan kinerja karyawan (r = 0,766). Koefisien determinasi (r = 58,6%) menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan memberik:an kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap variasi dalam kinerja karyawan di organisasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pemimpin dengan Kepemimpinan yang baik mampu meningkatkan kinerja karyawan secara efektif. This study aims to analyze the relationship between Leadership and employee performance at PT. Kereta Api Rantau Prapat. The population and sample of the study consisted of 35 employees selected by total sampling. The Leadership variable was measured using a scale compiled based on aspects of Leadership according to Artha (2013), namely: Attributed Charisma, Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, and Individualized Consideration. While the employee performance variable was measured using a Likert scale developed based on aspects of performance according to Bernadin and Russel (Utomo et al., 2006), namely: quality, quantity, timeliness, cost effectiveness, supervision needs, and interpersonal impact. The researcher used the Guttman scale to collect data, which revealed the psychological condition of the subject through written statements. This study is quantitative with the product moment correlation analysis technique, used to see the relationship between the Leadership variable (X) and employee performance (Y). The results of the study show a significant positive relationship between Leadership and employee performance (r = 0.766). The coefficient of determination (r = 58.6%) shows that Leadership contributes significantly to variations in employee performance in the organization. This finding confirms that leaders with good Leadership are able to improve employee performance effectively.
