This study aims to understand the dynamics of resilience formation in former female politicians who have served prison sentences due to bribery cases. Resilience is an individual's ability to recover from pressure and difficulties, especially when facing social stigma and significant life changes. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with three former members of the North Sumatra Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) for the 2009-2014 period involved in corruption cases. The findings indicate that their resilience was influenced by internal factors such as age, health, and spiritual beliefs, as well as external factors such as family support and skills acquired during incarceration. Despite facing major challenges such as social stigma and economic difficulties, the study subjects were able to adapt and rebuild their lives. These findings confirm that resilience is not only a result of internal factors but is also supported by a positive social environment.en_US
