Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat memberikan peluang besar dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Maka dari itu dilakukan lah perancangan sistem kehadiran berbasis web khusus untuk siswa kelas 2 SD. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mencatat identitas dan kehadiran siswa secara otomatis, memberikan laporan akurat, serta meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen waktu dan sumber daya. Perancangan sistem ini mencakup analisis sistem berjalan, identifikasi kebutuhan perangkat keras dan lunak, serta pembuatan diagram seperti ERD, DFD, dan flowchart. Dengan menggunakan platform XAMPP dan basis data MySQL, sistem diimplementasikan dengan antarmuka sederhana yang mudah diakses oleh wali kelas. Fungsi utama sistem meliputi pencatatan kehadiran, pengelolaan data siswa, dan pembuatan laporan absensi. Hasil kerja praktik menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu mengurangi manipulasi data, menghemat waktu, dan meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan kehadiran. Rapid technological developments provide great opportunities in various sectors, including education. Therefore, a web-based attendance system was designed specifically for 2nd grade elementary school students. This system is designed to automatically record student identity and attendance, provide accurate reports, and improve the efficiency of time and resource management. The design of this system includes analysis of the running system, identification of hardware and software needs, and creation of diagrams such as ERD, DFD, and flowcharts. By using the XAMPP platform and MySQL database, the system is implemented with a simple interface that is easily accessible by homeroom teachers. The main functions of the system include recording attendance, managing student data, and creating attendance reports. The results of the practical work show that this system is able to reduce data manipulation, save time, and improve the accuracy of attendance recording.
