Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan disiplin kerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Salak Kab. Pakpak Bharat. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada hubungan positif antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan disiplin kerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 48 guru dengan teknik total sampling. Disiplin kerja diukur menggunakan skala disiplin kerja yang disusun berdasarkan teori aspek-aspek disiplin kerja menurut Anggraeni dalam (Mustaman, 2023) Sementara gaya kepemimpinan demoktratis diukur dengan skala gaya kepemimpinan demokratis berdasarkan teori aspek-aspek gaya kepemimpinan demokratis menurut Hardianti (dalam Irdayanti, 2021). Data dikumpulkan melalui skala likert yaitu skala gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan skala disiplin kerja. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan disiplin kerja dimana rxy = 0,625 dengan signifikan p = 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, hipotesis penelitian dinyatakan diterima. Analisis selanjutnya menemukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan tergolong sangat demokratis (mean hipotetik = 67,5; mean empirik = 91,25; standar deviasi = 10,42) dan disiplin kerja tergolong sangat tinggi (mean hipotetik = 97,5; mean empirik = 127; standar deviasi = 13,67). This study aims to determine the relationship between democratic leadership style and teacher work discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Salak, Pakpak Bharat Regency. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between democratic leadership style and teacher work discipline. This study uses a quantitative method. The sample in this study was 48 teachers with a total sampling technique. Work discipline was measured using a work discipline scale compiled based on the theory of aspects of work discipline according to Anggraeni in (Mustaman, 2023). Meanwhile, democratic leadership style was measured using a democratic leadership style scale based on the theory of aspects of democratic leadership style according to Hardianti (in Irdayanti, 2021). Data were collected through a Likert scale, namely the democratic leadership style scale and the work discipline scale. The data analysis method used Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The results of the study showed a significant positive relationship between democratic leadership style and work discipline where rxy = 0.625 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.05. Thus, the research hypothesis is declared accepted. Further analysis found that the leadership style was classified as very democratic (hypothetical mean = 67.5; empirical mean = 91.25; standard deviation = 10.42) and work discipline was classified as very high (hypothetical mean = 97.5; empirical mean = 127; standard deviation = 13.67).
