The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between self-control and academic stress in students at the Faculty of Medicine, Prima Indonesia University when taking block exams. This type of research is quantitative correlational research. The research was conducted at Prima Indonesia University. In this study, the samples were students from the Faculty of Medicine, Prima Indonesia University who were taking block exams. In this study, 50 samples were taken which would be analyzed and then tested according to the academic stress and self-control scales. The data analysis used is using the Pearson product moment correlation technique. Based on the data analysis carried out, an rxy coefficient of -0.681 was obtained, which shows that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a negative relationship between self-control and academic stress in students at the Faculty of Medicine, Prima Indonesia University, where the higher the self-control, the lower the academic stress and vice versa. The determinant coefficient shows that there is a 46.4% contribution of self-control to academic stress. Based on the results of the mean calculation, it shows that students' academic stress is 69.36, which is classified as low, while the result for self-control is 75.72, which is classified as high.en_US
