dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemaknaan kekerasan di dalam film humor melalui tokoh-tokoh yang ada di dalamnya dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika John Fiske. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan konsep the codes of television. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Level Realitas yaitu scene dialog, perilaku, ekspresi wajah, gerakan tangan, dan suara yang dilakukan oleh para pengunjung kebun binatang dan tokoh-tokoh pemeran yang ada di dalam film tersebut sehingga menunjukkan bahwa adanya makna kekerasan dalam film “Secret Zoo”. 2 ) Level representasi yaitu teknik sudut pengambilan kamera, perpindahan, dan penataan suara sehingga makna kekerasan terlihat tampak lebih jelas. 3) Level Ideologi yaitu film “Secret Zoo” ini menunjukkan ideologi kapitalisme karena terdapat di bebeberapa scene adegan di mana para pengunjung yang tidak memiliki rasa empati, mereka hanya melihat dan membiarkan saja ketika ada pengunjung lain yang melakukan kekerasan kepada binatang yang ada di kebun binatang tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berhasil menganalisis Kekerasan Dalam Film Humor "Secret Zoo" dengan menggunakan teori semiotika John Fiske, yang memberikan wawasan tentang nilai-nilai dan makna yang terkandung dalam narasi film tersebut. This research aimed to find out the meaning of violence in humor films through the characters in it by using John Fiske's semiotic approach. This research applied a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and used the concept of the codes of television. The results showed that 1) Level of Reality is a scene of dialogue, behavior, facial expressions, hand movements, and sounds made by zoo visitors and the characters in the film so that it showd that there was a meaning of violence in the film "Secret Zoo". 2 ) The level of representation was the technique of camera angles, displacement, and sound arrangement so that the meaning of violence was seen more clearly. 3) Ideological level, namely the film "Secret Zoo" showd the ideology of capitalism because there were several scenes where visitors who did not have a sense of empathy, they only see and let it go when there were other visitors who commit violence against animals in the zoo. Thus, this research successfully analyzed Violence in Humor Film "Secret Zoo" using John Fiske's semiotic theory, which provides insight into the values and meanings contained in the film's narrative.en_US
