Abstract: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif mengenai dukungan keluarga pada penderita pasca stroke, dalam penelitian ini hal yang ingin diteliti adalah apa saja penyebab stroke dan bagaimana dukungan keluarga pada penderita pasca stroke. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak dua orang pria yang menderita pasca stroke yang berusia dari 50-65 tahun. Penelitian ini melibatkan istri responden sebagai informan penelitian. Berdasarkan basil penelitian yang dilakukan diketahui babwa penyebab stroke yang dialami kedua responden yaitu pada responden I (SM) mempunyai riwayat hipertensi, kolestrol, faktor genetik serta kurangnya berolah raga. Sedangkan pada responden II (PN) mempunyai riwayat hipertensi, kolestrol, perokok aktif serta kurangnya berolah raga. Dukungan keluarga dari kedua responden sangat berpengaruh sehingga responden merasa diperhatikan serta mendapat kasih sayang dan dorongan semangat hidup agar tetap sabar dan tabah dalam menjalani hidup. This study is a qualitative study on family support for post-stroke patients, in this study the things to be studied are what are the causes of stroke and how family support is for post-stroke patients. The data collection techniques used are interviews and observations. Respondents in this study were two men who suffered from post-stroke aged 50-65 years. This study involved the respondent's wife as a research informant. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is known that the cause of stroke experienced by the two respondents was that respondent I (SM) had a history of hypertension, cholesterol, genetic factors and lack of exercise. While respondent II (PN) had a history of hypertension, cholesterol, active smoking and lack of exercise. Family support from both respondents was very influential so that respondents felt cared for and received affection and encouragement to remain patient and steadfast in living their lives.
