dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kepuasan kerja terhadap turnover intention, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover intention pada guru SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan atau pengaruh antara dua variabel atau lebih variabel. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah guru SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan berjumlah 70 orang guru, dengan sampel sebanyak 54 guru yang dipilih menggunakan convinience sampling. Data yang di kumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert 1-5 yang disebarkan melalui google form kepada guru SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan melalui kepala sekolah. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS Versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan turnover intention, namun pada pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover intention hasilnya menunjukan negatif namun tidak signifikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkaya faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi turnover intention. This research aims to determine the influence of job satisfaction on turnover intention, and to determine the influence of organizational commitment on turnover intention among teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan. This study uses a quantitative approach, with an associative type of research used to analyze the relationship or influence between two or more variables. The population in this study was 70 teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan, with a sample of 54 teachers selected using convenience sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a 1-5 Likert scale which was distributed via Google Form to teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan via the school principal. Next, the data obtained was analyzed using SEM-PLS Version 3.0. The research results show that there is a negative and significant influence between job satisfaction and turnover intention, however, regarding the influence of organizational commitment on turnover intention, the results show negative but not significant. This research contributes to enriching the factors that influence turnover intention. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of fostering job satisfaction among teachers to mitigate turnover rates effectively. Future studies could explore additional variables that may impact organizational commitment and identify strategies for enhancing teacher retention in the educational sector.en_US
