Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Self Awareness dan kedisiplinan pada remaja MTsN 2 Aceh Tenggara. Kedisiplinan adalah sikap dan perilaku yang menunjukkan kepatuhan terhadap aturan, norma, serta tanggung jawab yang telah ditetapkan, baik dalam lingkungan sekolah, keluarga, maupun di masyarakat. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kedisiplinan adalah Self Awareness. Self Awareness adalah kemampuan individu untuk mengenali dan memahami perasaan, pikiran, serta tindakan dirinya sendiri. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah remaja MTsN 2 Aceh Tenggara berjumlah 260 orang. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian berjumlah 130 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala self awareness dan kedisiplinan dengan menggunakan bentuk skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Self Awareness dengan kedisiplinan (𝑟𝑥𝑦 = 0.719, dengan signifikan p = 0,000 < 0.01). Kedisiplinan dibentuk oleh Self Awareness sebesar 51,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Dengan asumsi semakin tinggi Self Awareness maka semakin tinggi pula kedisiplinan dan semakin rendah Self Awareness maka semakin rendah pula kedisiplinan remaja. This research aimed to determine the correlation between self-awareness and discipline among adolescents at MTsN 2 Aceh Tenggara. Discipline was the attitude and behavior that showed compliance with rules, norms, and responsibilities established in school, family, and society. A factor that affected discipline was self-awareness. Self-awareness was the individual's ability to recognize and understand their own feelings, thoughts, and actions. The population in this research was adolescents at MTsN 2 Aceh Tenggara totaling 260 people. The number of samples in this research was 130 people. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The measurement tools used in this research were the self-awareness and discipline scales using the Likert scale format. Data analysis used product moment correlation analysis. Based on the results of this research, there was a significant positive correlation between self-awareness and discipline (𝑟𝑥𝑦 = 0.719, with significance p = 0.000 < 0.01). Discipline was shaped by self-awareness by 51.7%, and the rest was affected by other factors not examined in this research. The assumption was that the higher the self-awareness, the higher the discipline, and the lower the self-awareness, the lower the discipline among adolescents. |
