dc.description.abstractPertumbuhan pesat jumlah kendaraan di wilayah perkotaan sering kali tidak diimbangi dengan perbaikan infrastruktur jalan, yang berujung pada kemacetan dan penurunan kinerja lalu lintas. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kapasitas jalan dan kinerja lampu lalu lintas pada simpang bersinyal di [masukkan lokasi]. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MJI) 1997 yang meliputi perhitungan volume lalu lintas, kapasitas jalan, derajat kejenuhan (DS), tundaan rata-rata, dan tingkat pelayanan (LOS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa simpang mengalami kejenuhan [rendah/sedang/tinggi] dengan nilai DS [nilai], yang mengindikasikan [kondisi kinerja simpang]. Tundaan rata-rata [nilai detik/kendaraan] mengindikasikan bahwa lampu [beroperasi secara efisien/perlu penyesuaian waktu]. Tingkat pelayanan yang diperoleh dikategorikan sebagai [LOS A–F], yang mencerminkan [deskripsi kinerja lalu lintas]. Berdasarkan evaluasi, direkomendasikan untuk [menyesuaikan waktu sinyal/memperluas kapasitas/memperbaiki geometri simpang] guna meningkatkan efisiensi lalu lintas di wilayah kajian. The rapid growth of vehicle numbers in urban areas is often not matched by improvements in road infrastructure, leading to congestion and reduced traffic performance. This study aims to evaluate the road capacity and the performance of traffic signals at a signalized intersection in [insert location]. The evaluation is conducted using the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM) 1997, which includes calculations of traffic volume, road capacity, degree of saturation (DS), average delay, and level of service (LOS). The analysis results show that the intersection experiences [low/moderate/high] saturation with a DS value of [value], indicating [condition of the intersection's performance]. The average delay of [value seconds/vehicle] suggests that the signal [operates efficiently/needs timing adjustment]. The obtained level of service is categorized as [LOS A–F], reflecting [traffic performance description].
