dc.description.abstractThere are several methods of drying pellets that the author has researched, namely: In general, this pellet factory where the drying process still uses natural heat, namely heat from the sun or drying in the sun, drying from the heat of the sun has many obstacles faced, one of which is the drying time for the pellets which is still considered less efficient because it takes quite a long time to dry the pellets, not to mention problems with changes in the weather so that in the drying process the pellets take a long time to dry, which is caused by several factors which become obstacles in drying. pellets. Research methods that will be used. In the Roasting Machine Manufacturing Process, this is a quantitative research method through surveys and direct observation of the research subject as the research method. This machine manufacturing process is the final step or stage of the tool assembly process. This process is useful for combining, and is carried out during the manufacturing process. The specifications for the pellet roasting machine being made are as follows: frame dimensions, 600 x 600 x700 x 700 mm, tube dimensions 2400 x 2400 mm.This machine is capable of roasting 100 kg/hour of pellets. With a motor power of 0.5 HP, a transmission system of pulleys, belts, gearbox, drag gear, chain, with a speed of 270 Rpm. From the results of this research it can be concluded as follows. 1. Making a pellet roasting machine for the production of less dry pellets is carried out by following procedures, namely preparation of tools and materials, cutting UNP, angle iron, welding the frame and assembling. 2. The processing time required for the process of making this pellet roasting machine, including cutting UNP iron, angle iron, welding, rolling and assembly, is 11 hours 05 minutes. 3. The costs used in making this pellet roasting machine cost IDR 11,660,000.en_US
