0.5). This study aims to determine the influence of income and education on the level of welfare of rice farmers. Quantitative descriptive method. Quantitative research refers to testing data where the discussion in this study depends on the results shown from the estimated data used. Arikunto said that when the subject is less than 100, then the entire population becomes the research sample. But if the subject is more than 100, then 10-15% or 15-25% can be taken. Based on the definition above, it can be said that the results of the sample size of this study are 250 x 15% = 37.5, so that it becomes 38 people. If the results of the r-count ≥ r-table at a significance level of 0.05, it means that the question item is valid. If the results of the r-count < r-table at a significance level of 0.05, it means that the question item is invalid. 1. Income (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the Welfare (Y) of Rice Farmers in Kolam Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency with a calculated t value of 5.074 <t table value of 1.686 (α = 5%), 2. Education (X2) has a positive and significant effect on the Welfare (Y) of Rice Farmers in Kolam Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency with a calculated t value of 4.022 <t table value of 1.686 (α = 5%). 3. Income (X1) and Education (X2) have a positive and significant effect together (simultaneously) on the Welfare (Y) of Rice Farmers in Kolam Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency with a calculated f value of 21.095 < f table of 3.24 (prob. 0.5). |
