Concrete is a widely used primary construction material due to its high compressive strength and durability. However, the production of cement, the primary ingredient in concrete, significantly contributes to carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions, necessitating innovation in more environmentally friendly materials. This study evaluated the use of Robusta Coffee Husk Powder (BKKR) as a partial cement substitute in concrete to reduce environmental impacts and improve construction sustainability. The substitution levels of BKKR used were 10%, 12%, and 14% of the cement weight, with normal K-250 concrete as a control. Compressive strength and splitting tensile strength tests were conducted at 14 and 28 days to assess the impact of substitution on the mechanical properties of concrete. The results showed that the use of BKKR affected the characteristics of concrete, with an optimal level that still maintained its mechanical properties according to construction standards. In addition, the utilization of this agricultural waste has the potential to reduce environmental pollution and provide a more sustainable material alternative in the construction industry.
