dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap work engagement dengan psychological well-being sebagai mediator pada mahasiswa pekerja. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 216 mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh pendidikan malam dan bekerja selama 8 jam kerja, dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui skala efikasi diri, psychological well-being, dan work engagement. Analisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement sebesar 19%, efikasi diri juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap psychological well-being sebesar 25%. psychological well-being juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement sebesar 44,3%. Psychological well-being terbukti memediasi hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan work engagement sebesar 11,1%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan tingkat efikasi diri yang tinggi cenderung memiliki psychological well-being yang baik, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan keterlibatannya dalam bekerja. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya peningkatan efikasi diri dan psychological well-being untuk meningkatkan work engagement khususnya pada mahasiswa pekerja. Lembaga pendidikan dan perusahaan diharapkan merancang program pelatihan yang mendukung pengembangan efikasi diri dan kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy on work engagement, with psychological well-being as a mediator, among working students. The sample consisted of 216 evening-class students working 8-hour shifts, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through self-efficacy, psychological well-being, and work engagement scales. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software. The results showed that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on work engagement by 19% and on psychological well-being by 25%. Psychological well-being also positively and significantly affects work engagement by 44.3%. Additionally, psychological well-being mediates the relationship between self-efficacy and work engagement by 11.1%. These findings indicate that students with high self-efficacy tend to have better psychological well-being, which, in turn, enhances their work engagement. The practical implications of this study highlight the importance of improving self-efficacy and psychological well-being to boost work engagement, particularly for working students. Educational institutions and companies are encouraged to design training programs that support the development of self-efficacy and psychological well-being among employees. | en_US |
