dc.description.abstract | Dinding penahan tanah berfungsi untuk menahan tekanan tanah dan air, sehingga dapat mencegah erosi dan longsor. Pada dasarnya, setiap jenis perkerasan yang menggunakan turap baja dirancang khusus untuk menahan gaya guling atau horizontal dan tidak dirancang khusus untuk menahan gaya vertikal seperti tiang pancang, yang semuanya telah diperhitungkan. Namun, untuk memastikan efektivitas dinding penahan tanah menggunakan turap baja, angkur beton atau yang biasa disebut Counterweight juga diperlukan untuk mendukung stabilitas yang akurat. Penggunaan angkur beton atau counterweight untuk menyeimbangkan perkerasan di tanggul Danau Toba sangat penting mengingat struktur perkerasan ini bersentuhan langsung dengan air. Selain itu, ada juga beberapa perkerasan yang tidak menggunakan counterweight karena tanah tempat turap baja dipasang pada dasarnya adalah tanah keras yang dapat menahan gaya guling terhadap perkerasan tanpa menggunakan angkur beton. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efisiensi peran counterweight dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan perkerasan di tanggul Danau Toba. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan: 1. Metode observasi. 2. Pengumpulan Data Pengumpulan data langsung dari proyek, meliputi: a. Gambar lengkap (gambar, potongan, detail) b. Data laboratorium. Perkerasan beton dengan angkur kuat mampu menahan beban lateral (momen 1072,40 kNm) tetapi lendutannya (1,10 cm) lebih besar daripada SPP. Di sisi lain, perkerasan SPP menunjukkan lendutan yang lebih kecil (0,31 cm) dan kekakuan yang baik, serta efisiensi berkat beton bertulang. The earth retaining wall functions to withstand soil and water pressure, so it can prevent erosion and landslides. Basically, any type of pavement using sheet piles is specifically designed to withstand rolling or horizontal forces and not specifically designed to withstand vertical forces like piles, which have all been calculated. However, to ensure the effectiveness of the earth retaining wall using sheet piles, concrete anchors or what is commonly called Counterweight are also required to support accurate stability. The use of concrete anchors or counterweights to balance the pavement in the embankment of Lake Toba is very important considering that this pavement structure is directly in contact with the water. In addition, there are also some pavements that do not use counterweights because the ground where the steel sheet piles are installed is basically hard ground that can withstand the rolling force against the pavement without using concrete anchors. The purpose of this research is to find out the efficiency of the role of counterweights in improving the balance of the pavement in the embankment of Lake Toba. As for the data collection method used: 1. Observation method. 2. Data Collection Direct data collection from the project, as for the data collected covering: a. Full Picture (drawing, cut, detail) b. Laboratory data. Strongly anchored concrete pavement resists lateral load (moment 1072.40 kNm) but its deflection (1.10 cm) is greater than SPP. On the other hand, the SPP pavement shows a smaller deflection (0.31 cm) and good stiffness, as well as efficiency thanks to the reinforced concrete. | en_US |
