dc.description.abstract | Limbah kaca adalah jenis limbah padat yang terdiri dari pecahan atau potongan-potongan kaca yang tidak terpakai. Dengan variasi subtitusi dari pasir 0%, 5%, dan 10%, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana sifat limbah kaca mempengaruhi kekuatan tekan terhadap Paving Block, Maksud penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh substitusi limbah kaca terhadap kuat tekan paving block, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Mengidentifikasi perbedaan kuat tekan dan kualitas antara Paving block beton yang menggunakan limbah kaca dengan yang tidak menggunakan.Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan di dua tempat yaitu Laboratorium Beton Universitas Medan Area dan tempat pembuatan Paving Block. Yang mana di Laboratorium Beton Universitas Medan Area (UMA) untuk melakukan pengujian material seperti pasir dan pengujian kuat tekan Paving Block, lalu untuk pembuatan dan pencetakan Paving Block dilakukan di ’’PT BATU SUMBER AGUNG’’, yang beralamat di Desa Sumberejo, Dusun Sumber Tani, Kecamatan Pagar Merbau, Dari hasil pengujian dimana kuat tekan yang dihasilkan dari Paving Block tanpa campuran limbah kaca adalah 240 Kg/cm2, sedangkan hasil pengujian kuat tekan Paving Block dengan penambahan limbah kaca yaitu 5% 244.102 Kg/cm2, 10% 178.216 Kg/cm2kesimpulan dari penelitian Penggunaan limbah kaca sebagai bahan pengganti pasir terhadap kuat tekan Paving Block terbilang efektif. Glass waste is a type of solid waste consisting of broken or unused pieces of glass. With variations in substitution of 0%, 5%, and 10% sand, the purpose of this study is to determine how the properties of glass waste affect the compressive strength of Paving Blocks. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of glass waste substitution on the compressive strength of paving blocks. The purpose of this study is to identify differences in compressive strength and quality between concrete Paving blocks that use glass waste and those that do not use it. This research was conducted in two places, namely the Concrete Laboratory of the University of Medan Area and the Paving Block manufacturing site. Which is in the Concrete Laboratory of the University of Medan Area (UMA) to conduct material testing such as sand and Paving Block compressive strength testing, then for the manufacture and printing of Paving Blocks is carried out at "PT BATU SUMBER AGUNG", which is located in Sumberejo Village, Sumber Tani Hamlet, Pagar Merbau District, From the test results where the compressive strength produced from Paving Blocks without a mixture of glass waste is 240 Kg / cm2, while the results of the Paving Block compressive strength test with the addition of glass waste are 5% 244,102 Kg / cm2, 10% 178,216 Kg / cm2 the conclusion of the study The use of glass waste as a substitute for sand on the compressive strength of Paving Blocks is quite effective. | en_US |
