dc.description.abstract | Beberapa tahun terakhir ini kita dapat merasakan perkembangan teknologi yang terjadi dengan sangat pesat. Hal ini tak ayal juga membuat mobilisasi menjadi begitu cepat baik itu dari segi pertumbuhan ekonomi mau pun pada bidang pekerjaan yang sudah pasti tak lepas dari yang namanya teknologi. Perkembangan teknologi inilah yang memunculkan fenomena yang tidak tergolong baru namun menjadi semakin umum dilakukan, yaitu Remote Working. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara remote working, work-life balance, dan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan generasi milenial. Remote working, yang semakin populer karena fleksibilitasnya, ditemukan berpengaruh positif terhadap work-life balance. Work-life balance yang lebih baik meningkatkan komitmen organisasi, mencerminkan loyalitas dan motivasi kerja karyawan. Data dikumpulkan dari 255 responden melalui metode kuantitatif eksplanatif menggunakan snowball sampling. Hasil analisis dengan SEM-PLS menunjukkan bahwa remote working berpengaruh signifikan terhadap work-life balance (13,5%) dan komitmen organisasi (67,4%). Work-life balance juga bertindak sebagai mediator yang signifikan antara remote working dan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya fleksibilitas kerja dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung keseimbangan hidup dan peningkatan loyalitas karyawan. In recent years we could feel the rapid development in technology. This is also become the reason how mobilisation is going rapidly in economic sector or any other sector that could not separated with technology. This technology development is making a not so new phenomenon called ”Remote Working” becoming more common nowadays. This study explores the relationship between remote working, work-life balance, and organizational commitment among millennial employees. Remote working, increasingly popular due to its flexibility, positively influences work-life balance. Improved work-life balance enhances organizational commitment, reflecting employee loyalty and work motivation. Data were collected from 255 respondents through a quantitative explanatory approach using snowball sampling. Analysis using SEM-PLS revealed that remote working significantly impacts work-life balance (13.5%) and organizational commitment (67.4%). Work-life balance also serves as a significant mediator between remote working and organizational commitment. The study highlights the importance of flexible work arrangements in fostering a supportive work environment that enhances life balance and employee loyalty. | en_US |
