Abstract: | Tunanetra adalah istilah umum yang sering digunakan untuk menggambarkan kondisi fisik seseorang yang mengalami kehilangan kemampuan penglihatan. Berdasarkan tingkat gangguannya, tunanetra dikategorikan menjadi dua, yaitu buta total (total blind) dan mereka yang masih memiliki sisa penglihatan (low vision). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat bantu tunanetra berbasis Arduino yang mampu mendeteksi berbagai jenis halangan serta potensi bahaya di lingkungan sekitar pengguna. Sistem ini memanfaatkan sensor ultrasonik untuk mendeteksi adanya objek di depan pengguna, sensor api untuk mendeteksi adanya api, dan sensor air untuk mendeteksi keberadaan genangan air. Alat ini dirancang untuk memberikan peringatan berupa getaran atau suara jika terdeteksi adanya halangan, seperti penghalang objek, api, atau air. Bahwa 3 sensor ultrasonic untuk mendeteksi halangan berupa tembok seperti ultrasonic depan dengan jarak 150cm, ultrasonic kanan dan kiri dengan jarak 100cm, sensor api terdeteksi dengan jarak 1 m dan sensor air terdeteksi dengan kedalaman 4 cm. Selain itu, alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan sistem GPS yang dapat memberikan bantuan darurat dengan jarak 2km yang akan dikirimkan berupa titik koordinat kepada pengguna. Arduino digunakan sebagai pusat pemrosesan data yang mengintegrasikan input dari sensor-sensor tersebut. Blindness is a general term often used to describe the physical condition of someone who has lost their sight. Based on the level of impairment, blindness is categorized into two, namely total blindness and those who still have residual vision (low vision). This research aims to design an Arduino-based blind aid that is able to detect various types of obstacles and potential hazards in the user's environment. This system utilizes an ultrasonic sensor to detect objects in front of the user, a fire sensor to detect fire, and a water sensor to detect the presence of puddles. This tool is designed to provide a warning in the form of vibration or sound if an obstacle is detected, such as an object, fire, or water barrier. That 3 ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles in the form of walls such as the front ultrasonic with a distance of 150cm, right and left ultrasonic with a distance of 100cm, a fire sensor detected with a distance of 1m and a water sensor detected with a depth of 4 cm. In addition, this tool is also equipped with a GPS system that can provide emergency assistance with a distance of 2km which will be sent in the form of coordinates to the user. Arduino is used as a data processing center that integrates input from these sensors. |
