Abstract: A lot of intersection in big city caused its own problem, more over art the peak hours such us at intersection kampung lalang medan. It was a meeting among the road of gatot subroto- the road of medan binjai- the road of jalan klambir v. The problem is that, the level of srvice at the intersection that could cause inconvenience. Data collection was done with direct survey on four roads. The taken data is the volume of vehicles that passed throught each intersection,signal timing,queuing,delaying and intersection geometric. The obtained data was used to get the degree condition of saturation (DS) at the peak hours that will be the refrences in planning the level of service at the intersection. From the result analysis, it was known that intersection of kampung lalang medan such us the road of gatot subroto-the road of medan binjai-the road of pinang baris-the road of klambir v hadn’t fulfilled the level of service. There fore, it was done a lot of plan to improve all the level of service. Which firstly got the indicator value F, because the delay value of average intersection achieved 851sec/intersection. So it needed the additional time. It was 14.18 minutes to pass through the intersection. It showed the effect of barrier of intersection, such us trading in the street, the public transportation which, got in and got off their passenges and arbitrarry And for additional, there is a bus station not for from the intersectio. The most appropriate paln that was done to improve the level of service at itersection of kampung lalang is that building flyover or underpas to be able reduce. The delay fine of intersection that fiirstly reached 851 sec/intersection in the late of evening can be reduced to be 64.51 sec/intersection and it can decrease the level of intersection. By indicator B which can make the drivers comfortable passing throught the intersection
