Faktor Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Minat Generasi Muda di Sektor Pertanian Kecamatan Berastagi Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

Upaya peningkatan generasi muda dalam sektor pertanian dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengembangkan minat generasi muda terhadap faktor - faktor yang mendorong minat untuk bertani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Menganalisis pengaruh motivasi terhadap minat generasi muda dalam sektor pertanian, 2) Menganalisis pengaruh kepribadian terhadap minat generasi muda dalam sektor pertanian, 3) Menganalisis pengaruh keadaan lingkungan terhadap minat generasi muda dalam sektor pertanian, 4) Menganalisis pengaruh ekonomi keluarga terhadap minat generasi muda dalam sektor pertanian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan data kuantitatif deskriptif menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 26.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa 1) variabel motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai alpha yaitu 0,041 < 0,05 2) variabel kepribadian tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat generasi muda di sektor pertanian 3) variabel lingkungan tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat generasi muda di sektor pertanian 4) variabel ekonomi keluarga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai alpha yaitu 0,007 < 0,05. Efforts to increase the young generation in the agricultural sector can be done by developing the interest of the young generation in the factors that encourage interest in farming. This study aims to 1) Analyze the influence of motivation on the interest of the young generation in the agricultural sector, 2) Analyze the influence of personality on the interest of the young generation in the agricultural sector, 3) Analyze the influence of environmental conditions on the interest of the young generation in the agricultural sector, 4) Analyze the influence of family economics on the interest of the young generation in the agricultural sector. The research method used in this study is a survey method with descriptive quantitative data using the SPSS 26.0 program. Based on the results of the research that has been done that 1) the motivation variable has a positive and significant effect with an alpha value of 0.041 <0.05 2) the personality variable does not affect the interest of the young generation in the agricultural sector 3) the environmental variable does not affect the interest of the young generation in the agricultural sector 4) the family economic variable has a positive and significant effect with an alpha value of 0.007 <0.05.
