dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketahanan tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) yang tahan terhadap serangan puru akar, mengetahui dosis mikoriza yang paling efektif mencegah serangan puru akar, Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Medan Estate Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang dan Pengamatan kolonisasi mikoriza dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biologi Fakultas FMIPA Universitas Negri Medan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok non factorial. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah kolonisasi mikoriza, jumlah puru, berat basah akar, panjang akar, Jumlah anakan, Tinggi tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian berbagai dosis mikoriza berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan, berat basah akar, panjang akar, jumlah puru akar. Dengan Pemberian mikoriza terbaik dosis 20 g dapat meningkatkan ketahanan padi varietas ciherang terhadap serangan nematoda Meloidogyne graminicola yang terindikasi dari rendahnya jumlah puru akar dan berat basah akar berpuru. This research aims to determine the resistance of rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) which are resistant to root knot attacks, determine the most effective dose of mycorrhiza in preventing root knot attacks. This research was carried out in Medan Estate Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency and Observation of mycorrhizal colonization carried out at the Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Medan State University. This research method used a non-factorial randomized block design. The parameters observed in this study were mycorrhizal colonization, number of knots, fresh root weight, root length, number of tillers, plant height. The results of the research showed that administration of various mycorrhizal doses had a significant effect on the number of tillers, fresh root weight, root length, and number of root knots. By giving the best mycorrhiza at a dose of 20 g, it can increase the resistance of the Ciherang rice variety to attack by the nematode Meloidogyne graminicola which is indicated by the low number of root knots and the wet weight of the root knots.en_US
