Chili is an important agricultural commodity and is widely cultivated in Indonesia. In chili cultivation, continuous use of inorganic fertilizers will have a negative impact on both chili production and the environment. So it is necessary to use organic fertilizer to overcome the negative impacts of using inorganic fertilizer in realizing sustainable agriculture. This research aims to determine the effect of applying rice straw mulch and rabbit urine liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of large red chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.). The design used in this research was a factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors, namely: 1) Factor for providing rice straw mulch (J), consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely; J0 = No Rice Straw Mulch, J1 = Rice Straw Mulch 10 tonnes/ha (2.24 kg/plot), J2= Rice Straw Mulch 20 tonnes/ha (4.50 kg/plot), J3= Rice Straw Mulch 30 ton/ha (6.75 kg/plot). 2) Factors for applying liquid organic fertilizer from rabbit urine with 4 levels of treatment, namely; A0 = Without application of POC rabbit urine, A1 = 200 ml/L Water, A2 = 300 ml/ L Water, A3 = 400 ml/ L Water. The results of this study showed that the treatment of rice straw mulch, rabbit urine POC, and the combination of rice straw mulch and rabbit urine POC had no significant effect on the growth and production of red chili plants.en_US
