Abstract: | Jambu air madu (Syzygium aquaeum) merupakan salah satu komoditi unggulan terbaru dan mulai banyak dikembangkan oleh petani di daerah Langkat dan Binjai. Permasalahan dalam budidaya menggunakan stek adalah pada tingkat ketersediaan bibit. Bawang merah dapat digunakan sebagai ZPT karena memilki kandungan minyak atsiri, metilalin, sikloalin, flavonglikosida, saponin, peptida, dihidroalin, kuersetin, fithohormon, vitamin, dan zat pati. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial sebagai berikut : P0 = Kontrol (Aquadest), P1 = Ekstrak bawang merah dengan konsentrasi 5% /1 L Aquadest, P2 = Ekstrak bawang merah dengan konsentrasi 10% /1 L Aquadest, P3 = Ekstrak bawang merah dengan konsentrasi 15% /1 L Aquadest, P4 = Rootone-F dengan konsentrasi 75 g/1 L Aquadest, P5 = Rootone-F dengan konsentrasi 150 g/1 L Aquadest, P6 = Rootone-F dengan konsentrasi 225 g/1 L Aquadest, P7= Rootone-F dengan konsentrasi 300 g/1 L Aquadest. Pemberian Berbagai Jenis Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan Tinggi Tanaman, Jumlah Tunas, dan Panjang Akar, Jumlah akar primer. Akan tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap persentase tumbuh dan jumlah daun tanaman jambu air madu. Honey water apple (Syzygium aquaeum) is one of the newest superior commodities and is starting to be widely developed by farmers in the Langkat and Binjai areas. The problem in cultivation using cuttings is the level of seed availability. Red onions can be used as ZPT because they contain essential oils, methylalin, cycloalin, flavonglycosides, saponins, peptides, dihydroalin, quercetin, phytohormones, vitamins, and starch. The design used in this study was a Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) as follows: P0 = Control (Aquadest), P1 = Red onion extract with a concentration of 5% / 1 L of Aquadest, P2 = Red onion extract with a concentration of 10% / 1 L of Aquadest, P3 = Red onion extract with a concentration of 15% / 1 L of Aquadest, P4 = Rootone-F with a concentration of 75 g / 1 L of Aquadest, P5 = Rootone-F with a concentration of 150 g / 1 L of Aquadest, P6 = Rootone-F with a concentration of 225 g / 1 L of Aquadest, P7 = Rootone-F with a concentration of 300 g / 1 L of Aquadest. The provision of various types of plant growth regulators (ZPT) had a very significant effect on the growth of plant height, number of shoots, and root length, number of primary roots. However, it did not have a significant effect on the percentage of growth and number of leaves of honey water apple plants. |
