Abstract: | Heat exchanger is a equipment is used to exchange of energy in the form of heat between fluide of temperature that can be happen throught of direct or indirect contact. One of type from heat exchanger is lot in life used to are shell and tube, heat exchanger , this tool is used to move heat from a system to another system without mass transfer and can be function as a heater or as a cooler. To know the different of temperature, coefficient and effectivities heat transfer of shell and tube so analysis is done heat exchanger shell and tube, compare of water out temperature and gas out temperature with optiming exhaust gases of diesel enginer stream in the tube. Before the research was done, the first was done some preparation in order to test would done could direct safe and fast, between is preparation of matter and tool would used in the research. From testing (analysis) is found the result to coefficient of heat transfer in the shell = 0,000825 m2. Coefficient of heat transfer in the biggest at the first testing = 32,7283 w/m 0C and smallest at sixth testing =32,5112 w/m 0C, coefficient of heat transfer on the outside of the biggest tube = 2,83984 w/m 0C and smallest at the first = 2,78102 w/m 0C, throught the biggest of activities at first testing = 0,8000 and smallest at seventh =0,02013 |
