This research aims to determine the best treatment of goat waste compost and arbuscular mycorrhiza on the growth and production of tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill). This research was conducted at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Medan Area University, located on Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District with a height of 22 meters above sea level, flat topography. This research was carried out from November 2023 to January 2024. The materials used were servo variety tomato seeds, goat waste compost, and mycorrhizal fungi, polybags. The tools used are a hoe, machete, tarpaulin, plastic rope, burlap, scales, measuring cup, binocular microscope, preparation glass, tweezers, tissue, cover glass and glass object. The design used in this research was a Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK), with 2 treatment levels, namely Goat Waste Compost (P notation) with 5 treatment levels P0(+) = Mutiara NPK chemical fertilizer, P0(-) = Control, P1 = Goat Waste Compost 1 kg/m2, P2 = Goat Waste Compost 1.5 kg/m2 and P3 = Goat Waste Compost 2 kg/m2 and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (M notation) with 4 treatment levels M0 = Control, M1 = 10 g /plant, M2 = 15 g/plant, and M3 = 20 g/plant. The results of this research were that the application of goat waste compost and the application of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) did not have a significant effect on the growth and production of tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill).
