Perancangan Hotel Resort Kawasan Pantai Lagundri Kabupaten Nias Selatan Dengan Pendekatan Tema Arsitektur Neo-Vernakular

Abstract

Dengan meningkatnya jumlah wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara ke Pulau Nias, sektor industri pariwisata berusaha meningkatkan pelayanan bagi wisatawan. Penyediaan penginapan salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan, kurangnya penginapan di Kabupaten Nias Selatan maka perlu merencanakan pembangunan Hotel Resort. Perancangan Hotel Resort bukan hanya sebagai penginapan tetapi menjadi objek wisata alam dengan pemandangan pantai. Perancangan Hotel Resort menerapkan tema Neo-Vernakular yang berasal dari Desa Bawamataluo. Di Indonesia, bangunan hotel Resort sering kali melupakan nilai lingkungan dan nilai budaya setempat, untuk itu pentingnya melestarikan budaya salah satunya dengan menerapkan tema Neo-Vernakular pada Hotel Resort yang akan memberikan interpretasi bagi wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara. With the increasing number of domestic and foreign tourists to Nias Island, the tourism industry sector is trying to improve services for tourists. The provision of lodging is one of the things that need to be considered, the lack of lodging in South Nias Regency is necessary to plan the construction of Resort Hotels. The design of Resort Hotels is not only as an inn but a natural tourist attraction with beach views. The design of the Resort Hotel applies the Neo-Vernacular theme originating from Bawamataluo Village. In Indonesia, resort hotel buildings often forget the value of the environment and local cultural values, for that the importance of preserving culture, one of which is by applying the Neo-Vernacular theme to Resort Hotels which will provide interpretation for domestic and foreign tourists.
