dc.description.abstractMeningkatnya volume lalu lintas berkontribusi terhadap kerusakan jalan, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada menurunnya kinerja dan kualitas jalan tersebut. Untuk menjaga kondisi jalan agar tetap baik, baik saat ini maupun di masa mendatang, diperlukan evaluasi terhadap kondisi permukaan serta daya dukung struktur jalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Jalan Ismail Harun sepanjang 1,51 km dengan tujuan mengevaluasi tingkat kerusakan perkerasan menggunakan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI). Tujuan utama dari studi ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis serta tingkat kerusakan jalan yang terjadi. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei langsung di lapangan, di mana peneliti mengidentifikasi jenis dan tingkat kerusakan serta mengukur dimensi kerusakan tersebut. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa jenis kerusakan pada perkerasan lentur Jalan Ismail Harun meliputi: retak kulit buaya, kegemukan, retak blok, cekungan, keriting, retak pinggir, retak memanjang/melintang, penurunan pinggiran jalan, tambalan dan galian utilitas, agregat licin, lubang, pelepasan butiran, serta alur. Tingkat kerusakan yang teridentifikasi diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga kategori, yaitu rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Berdasarkan perhitungan metode PCI, diperoleh nilai 52,7167 yang termasuk dalam kategori kondisi buruk (poor). Dengan demikian, metode penanganan yang disarankan untuk kondisi ini adalah rehabilitasi jalan. Increasing traffic volume contributes to road damage, which ultimately has an impact on decreasing the performance and quality of the road. To maintain good road conditions, both now and in the future, an evaluation of the surface condition and the bearing capacity of the road structure is needed. This study was conducted on Jalan Ismail Harun along 1.51 km with the aim of evaluating the level of pavement damage using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. The main objective of this study is to identify the types and levels of road damage that occur. The data collection process was carried out through direct surveys in the field, where researchers identified the types and levels of damage and measured the dimensions of the damage. The evaluation results showed that the types of damage to the flexible pavement of Jalan Ismail Harun included: crocodile skin cracks, fat, block cracks, depressions, curls, edge cracks, longitudinal/transverse cracks, roadside settlement, utility patches and excavations, slippery aggregates, holes, grain release, and grooves. The identified levels of damage were classified into three categories, namely low, medium, and high. Based on the calculation of the PCI method, a value of 52.7167 was obtained which was included in the poor condition category. Thus, the recommended treatment method for this condition is road rehabilitation.en_US
