dc.description.abstract | Bangunan bertingkat dengan ketidakteraturan vertikal sering mengalami distribusi beban yang tidak merata, yang secara signifikan memengaruhi kinerja struktur terhadap beban lateral, khususnya saat terjadi gempa. Variasi dimensi kolom dan balok antar lantai dapat menyebabkan peningkatan perpindahan dan deformasi pada lantai atas dibandingkan lantai bawah. Oleh karena itu, evaluasi terhadap pengaruh ketidakteraturan vertikal sangat penting untuk menjamin keamanan struktur. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh ketidakteraturan vertikal terhadap perilaku bangunan bertingkat dengan menggunakan metode pushover nonlinier. Analisis struktur dilakukan dengan perangkat lunak SAP2000 untuk menilai kapasitas bangunan dalam menahan beban lateral, terutama beban gempa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan linear yang kuat antara perpindahan antar lantai dengan gaya lateral (R² = 0,8342), serta menunjukkan bahwa ketidakteraturan vertikal meningkatkan simpangan antar lantai (story drift) dan rasio simpangan antar lantai (story drift ratio) pada lantai atas. Bangunan dengan rasio simpangan antar lantai yang melebihi batas standar perencanaan gempa berpotensi mengalami masalah stabilitas. Selain itu, ketidakteraturan vertikal menyebabkan perbedaan gaya yang signifikan pada kolom dan balok antara lantai bawah dan lantai atas, sehingga meningkatkan risiko kegagalan struktur. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar ketidakteraturan vertikal diperhitungkan secara cermat dalam perancangan bangunan bertingkat untuk mencapai distribusi gaya yang lebih merata dan menjamin ketahanan struktur terhadap beban gempa. Multi-story buildings with vertical irregularities often experience uneven load distribution, which can affect the structural performance under lateral loads, especially seismic forces. Such irregularities, such as varying column and beam dimensions between floors, can lead to significant increases in displacement and deformation on the upper floors compared to the lower floors. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the impact of vertical irregularities on the structure's behavior to ensure building safety. This study aims to analyze the impact of vertical irregularity on the behavior of multi-story buildings using the nonlinear pushover method. The analysis was performed using SAP2000 software to assess the structural capacity to withstand lateral loads, particularly seismic loads. The results show a linear relationship between story displacement and lateral forces (R² = 0.8342), as well as the impact of vertical irregularities that increase story drift and Story drift ratio on the upper floors. Structures with a Story drift ratio exceeding the earthquake design standard limits may affect the stability of the structure. Furthermore, this study shows that vertical irregularity can cause significant differences in forces on columns and beams between the lower and upper floors, increasing the risk of structural failure. Based on these findings, it is recommended to consider vertical irregularities in the design of multi-story buildings to ensure structural resilience against seismic loads, by accounting for a more uniform distribution of forces throughout the building | en_US |
