dc.description.abstractTanah ultisol merupakan jenis tanah marginal yang banyak ditemukan di Indonesia, mencakup sekitar 25% dari total luas daratan. Karakteristiknya yang khas seperti pH tanah sangat masam (< 4,5), kejenuhan aluminium tinggi, serta rendahnya kandungan unsur hara makro (N, P, K), menyebabkan tanah ini kurang subur dan tidak ideal untuk budidaya tanaman, termasuk kelapa sawit. Salah satu pendekatan yang banyak digunakan untuk memperbaiki sifat tanah ultisol adalah pemberian pupuk organik, terutama pupuk kandang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas berbagai jenis pupuk kandang (sapi, ayam, kambing) dalam meningkatkan ketersediaan hara tanah dan pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review sistematis dengan pendekatan PRISMA. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pupuk kandang ayam memiliki pengaruh paling signifikan terhadap peningkatan pH, C-organik, P-tersedia, dan kapasitas tukar kation. Sementara itu, pupuk kandang sapi dan kambing juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan ketersediaan N dan K serta memperbaiki struktur tanah. Studi ini memberikan rekomendasi aplikatif untuk pengelolaan tanah ultisol secara berkelanjutan dan mendukung pertumbuhan optimal bibit kelapa sawit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ultisol soil is a type of marginal soil that is widely found in Indonesia, covering about 25% of the total land area. Its characteristic characteristics such as the soil pH is very acidic (< 4.5), high aluminum saturation, as well as low macronutrient content (N, P, K), make this soil less fertile and not ideal for cultivating crops, including oil palm. One of the widely used approaches to improve the soil properties of ultisol is the application of organic fertilizers, especially manure. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of various types of manure (cows, chickens, goats) in increasing soil nutrient availability and oil palm seed growth. The method used is a systematic literature review with the PRISMA approach. The results of the study showed that chicken manure had the most significant influence on increasing pH, C-organic, Pavailable, and cation exchange capacity. Meanwhile, cow and goat manure also contributes to increasing the availability of N and K and improving soil structure. This study provides applicative recommendations for sustainable management of ultisol soils and supports optimal growth of oil palm seedlings.en_US
