dc.description.abstractMasalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Self Regulated Learning dan konsep diri pada mahasiswa di Politeknik LP3I Medan Kampus Medan Baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model creative art dalam konseling untuk meningkatkan self regulated learning dan konsep diri pada mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (reserch and development) Borg and Gall yang dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah penelitian, pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, penyempurnaan produk, dan diseminasi. Dalam penelitian ini langkah diseminasi dilakukan pada skala kecil. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Politeknik LP3I Medan Kampus Medan Baru yang terdiri dari 30 Orang. Besar sampel 6 orang diambil secara random yang dibagi dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen dengan model creative art dalam konseling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengukur self regulated learning dan konsep diri. Sedangkan pretest dan postest digunakan mengukur self regulated learning dan konsep diri mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan deskripstif untuk menjawab kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan buku panduan layanan konseling dengan creative art yang dikembangkan. Hasil menunjukkan ditemukan adanya peningkatan self regulated learning sebesar 82,67% dan sebesar 41% peningkatan konsep diri mahasiswa melalui penggunaan model creative art berdasarkan hasil skala. Sedangkan penggunaan metode konvensional meningkatkan self regulated learning sebesar 83% dan konsep diri sebesar 42,67%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model creative art dapat meningkatkan self regulated learning dan konsep diri lebih tinggi dibanding dengan penggunaan model konvensional. Dengan demikian disarankan agar model creative art dalam konseling sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan self regulated learning dan konsep diri pada mahasiswa. The problem in this research is Self Regulated Learning and self-concept in students at Politeknik LP3I Medan, Kampus Medan Baru. This study aims to develop a creative art model in counseling to improve self-regulated learning and self-concept in students. The method used is the R&D (reserch and development) of Borg and Gall which is carried out with the steps of research, data collection, planning, product development, product improvement, and dissemination. In this study, the dissemination step was carried out on a small scale. The research population consisted of 30 students of the Politeknik LP3I Medan, Kampus Medan Baru. The sample size of 6 people was taken randomly and divided into two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group with the creative art model in counseling. Data were collected using observation sheets to measure selfregulated learning and self-concept. While the pretest and posttest were used to measure self regulated learning and self-concept of students before and after treatment. Data analysis used descriptive to answer the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the counseling service manual with the creative art that was developed. The results showed that there was an increase in self-regulated learning by 82.67% and by 41% an increase in student self-concept through the use of the creative art model based on the scale results. Meanwhile, the use of conventional methods increased self-regulated learning by 83% and self-concept by 42.67%. This study concluded that the use of creative art models can increase self-regulated learning and self-concept higher than the use of conventional models. Thus it is suggested that the creative art model in counseling be an alternative in improving self-regulated learning and self-concept in students.en_US
