| Abstract: | Siswa yang memutuskan untuk bersekolah di pondok pesantren akan menghadapi kehidupan yang sangat berbeda dan akan melakukan penyesuaian diri untuk dapat bersosialisasi dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orangtua demokrastis dan self-regulated learning terhadap penyesuaian diri siswa yang berada di salah satu pondok pesantren yang ada di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan sampel pada penelitian ini melibatkan 150 orang siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala pola asuh orangtua demokratis, skala self-regulated learning dan skala penyesuaian diri. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode PLS melalui program Smart PLS 4.0 dan SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola asuh orangtua demokratis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyesuaian diri dengan nilai koefisien 0,524 dan nilai P-Values = 0,000 < 0,05. Self-regulated learning berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyesuaian diri dengan nilai koefisien 0,500 dan P-Values = 0,000 < 0,05. Pola Asuh Orangtua Demokratis dan Self Regulated Learning mampu menjelaskan atau mempengaruhi Penyesuaian Diri sebesar 66,8%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua faktor tersebut memainkan peran penting dalam perkembangan psikologis anak dan remaja. Sisanya sebesar 33,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain Students who decide to attend boarding school will face a very different life and will make adjustments to be able to socialise with their environment. This study aims to determine the effect of democratic parenting and self-regulated learning on selfadjustment of students who are in one of the boarding schools in Medan City. This study uses quantitative methods using a sample in this study involving 150 students. The research instruments used in this study were democratic parenting scale, self-regulated learning scale and self-adjustment scale. Data were analysed using the PLS method through the Smart PLS 4.0 program and SPSS 26.0. The results showed that democratic parenting has a positive and significant effect on self-adjustment with a coefficient value of 0.524 and a P-value = 0.000 <0.05. Self-regulated learning has a positive and significant effect on self-adjustment with a coefficient value of 0.500 and P-Values = 0.000 <0.05. Democratic Parenting and Self-Regulated Learning were able to explain or influence Self-Adjustment by 66.8%. This shows that both factors play an important role in the psychological development of children and adolescents. The remaining 33.2% is influenced by other factors. |
