| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini berjudul "Strategi Komunikasi Satlantas Polrestabes Medan dalam Bersosialisasi untuk Menghindari Penggunaan Jasa Calo dalam Pengurusan Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM)". Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana Satlantas Polrestabes Medan menggunakan strategi komunikasi untuk mengurangi penggunaan jasa calo dalam proses pengurusan SIM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi meliputi: seleksi komunikator yang memiliki kredibilitas, penentuan target audiens yang tepat, penyampaian pesan yang jelas dan sederhana, serta pemanfaatan berbagai media komunikasi. Meskipun demikian, efektivitas strategi ini terhambat oleh kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, proses pengurusan SIM yang lambat, serta kesulitan dalam menghadapi ujian teori. Secara keseluruhan, strategi komunikasi ini telah dirancang dengan baik, namun masih memerlukan peningkatan dalam pendidikan tentang lalu lintas dan penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai untuk mengatasi tantangan yang ada. The research is titled "Communication Strategy of Satlantas Polrestabes Medan in Socializing to Avoid the Use of Brokers in Driver's License Management (SIM)". Using qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach, the study analyzes how Satlantas Polrestabes Medan employs communication strategies to reduce the use of brokers in SIM management processes. The research findings indicate that the communication strategy includes: selecting credible communicators, identifying appropriate target audiences, delivering clear and simple messages, and utilizing various communication media. However, the effectiveness of these strategies is hindered by public misunderstanding, infrastructure limitations, slow SIM processing, and difficulties in facing theoretical exams. Overall, while the communication strategy has been well-designed, it requires improvement in traffic education and the provision of adequate facilities to address existing challenges | en_US |
