Abstract: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai bahan kimia terhadap kualitas lateks dan pemberian berbagai dosis bahan kimia terhadap kualitas lateks. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sari Laba Jahe, Kecamatan Sibiru biru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus s/d September 2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Kontras Ortogonal. Analisis yang digunakan analisis data dengan menggunakan sidik ragam. Penelitian diawali dengan mengumpulkan seluruh penggumpal dan lateks yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari kebun karet yang diambil langsung dari penyadap pada waktu optimum 2 jam setelah penyadapan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 4 variasi koagulan yaitu larutan TSP, Larutan Urea, Asam Formiat, dan air, yang diencerkan masing-masing 10%, Konsentrasi seluruh penggumpal dibuat dengan dosis yang ditetapkan pada 0,15,30 ml per tanaman. The study aims to determine the effect of various chemicals on the quality of latex and the administration of various doses of chemicals on the quality of latex. The study was conducted in Sari Laba Jahe Village, Sibiru Biru District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The study was conducted from August to September 2022. This study was conducted using the Orthogonal Contrast Design method. The analysis used data analysis using variance. The study began by collecting all the coagulants and latex used in this study were obtained from rubber plantations which were taken directly from the tappers at an optimum time of 2 hours after tapping. This study was conducted with 4 variations of coagulants, namely TSP solution, Urea Solution, Formic Acid, and water, which were diluted 10% each. The concentration of all coagulants was made at a dose set at 0.15, 30 ml per plant.
