Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosi dan Beban Kerja Terhadap Stres Kerja Pada Personil Bidpropam Polda Aceh

Abstract

Profesi polisi di Provinsi Aceh adalah sebuah tantangan yang kompleks, mengingat beban kerja yang berat serta situasi politik dan kultural yang unik. Beban kerja yang tinggi diiringi dengan tanggung jawab besar dan tantangan yang spesifik dapat mempengaruhi tingkat stres kerja anggota polisi di Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosi dan beban kerja terhadap stres kerja pada personil Bidpropam Polda Aceh. Latar belakang masalah ini berawal pada kenyataan bahwa personil kepolisian, khususnya di unit profesi dan pengamanan sering dihadapkan pada tuntutan pekerjaan yang tinggi dan situasi kerja yang kompleks. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain survei dengan pendekatan cross- sectional, dimana data dikumpulkan pada satu titik waktu tertentu dari sampel yang representatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh personil Bidpropam Polda Aceh berjumlah 119 personil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecerdasan emosi dan beban kerja secara simultan berpengaruh sebesar 85,8% terhadap stres kerja pada personil Bidpropam Polda Aceh. Sedangkan sisanya 14,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. Hal ini menunjukkan meskipun beban kerja penting, namun kapasitas individu dalam mengelola emosi lebih menentukan ketahanan terhadap stres kerja. The police profession in Aceh Province is a complex challenge, considering the heavy workload and unique political and cultural situation. High workload accompanied by great responsibility and specific challenges can affect the level of work stress of police officers in Aceh. This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and workload on work stress in Aceh Regional Police Bidpropam personnel. The background of this problem begins with the fact that police personnel, especially in the professional and security units, are often faced with high job demands and complex work situations. This study uses a survey design with a cross-sectional approach, where data is collected at a certain point in time from a representative sample. The population of the study was all Bidpropam personnel of the Aceh Police totaling 119 personnel. The results of the study sphowed that emotional intelligence and workload simultaneously had an effect of 85.8% on work stress in Bidpropam personnel of the Aceh Police. While the remaining 14.5% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This shows that although workload is important, an individual's capacity to manage emotions ismore decisive in determining resilience to work stress.
