dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) pada karyawan PT. Medan Sugar Industri. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 108 karyawan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala kepuasan kerja dan skala Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) yang disusun berdasarkan aspek teoritis. Hasil uji regresi sederhana menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,442 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Sumbangan efektif kepuasan kerja terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) sebesar 44,2%, sedangkan sisanya 55,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Berdasarkan analisis mean empirik dan mean hipotetik, kepuasan kerja dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) pada karyawan berada dalam kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan adanya pengaruh positif antara kepuasan kerja terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) pada karyawan PT. Medan Sugar Industri dapat diterima. This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees of PT. Medan Sugar Industri. The research subjects consisted of 108 Organizational Citizenship Behavior employees, with the sampling technique using total sampling. The research instruments were a job satisfaction scale and an Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) scale, both developed based on theoretical aspects. The results of a simple regression analysis showed a correlation coefficient (r) of 0,442 with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant positive effect of job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The effective contribution of job satisfaction to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) was 44,2%, while the remaining 55,8% was influenced by other factors. Based on the analysis of empirical and hypothetical means, both job satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees were categorized as moderate. Therefore, the research hypothesis stating that there is a positive effect of job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees of PT. Medan Sugar Industri is accepted.en_US
