Berdasarkan analisis data, tingkat kepuasan hidup mahasiswa tergolong sedang cenderung rendah (mean empiris 18,4 < mean hipotetik 20;SD = 2,786), sedangkan tingkat FoMO tergolong sedang cenderung tinggi (mean empiris 38,59 > mean hipotetik 36; SD = 7,099). This study aims to find out correlation between life satisfaction and Fear of Missing Out in Psychology student at University of Medan Area. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is negative relationship between life satisfaction and Fear of Missing Out. The study involved 127 students from 2022 cohort, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) to measure life satisfaction and the FoMO-12 scale to asses the level of Fear of Missing Out. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation with the assistance of the SPSS program. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = -0,415 with a p-value of 0,001 (p<0,05), indicating a significant negative relationship between life satisfaction and FoMO. Therefore, the research hypothesis is accepted. Based on data analysis, students’ life satisfaction was categorized as moderate, leaning, towards low (empirical mean = 18,4 < hypothetical mean = 20; SD = 2,786), while their level of FoMO was categorized as moderate, leaning towards high (empirical mean = 38,59 > hypothetical mean = 36; SD =7,099). In addition, life satisfaction was found to have an effective contribution of 17,2% to FoMO, indicating that other factors such as self-regulation, information openness, and age also play a role in influencing the tendency to experience FoMO.en_US
