Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-development dengan motivasi pada anggota Komunitas Generasi Cakrawala. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya tingkat partisipasi anggota dalam kegiatan komunitas, yang diasumsikan berkaitan dengan rendahnya kesesuaian materi pengembangan diri terhadap kebutuhan dan minat anggota. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 52 orang anggota komunitas strata 1 dan strata 2. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala self-development dan skala motivasi, masing-masing disusun berdasarkan aspek-aspek teoritis yang telah ditentukan. Hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur yang digunakan memenuhi syarat statistik. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self-development dan motivasi (r = 0,230, p = 0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat pengembangan diri seseorang, semakin tinggi pula motivasinya untuk terlibat aktif dalam komunitas. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penyusunan program self-development yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan aktual anggota untuk meningkatkan motivasi partisipatif mereka. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-development and motivation among members of the Generasi Cakrawala Community. The background of this research is based on the low level of member participation in community activities, which is assumed to be related to the inadequate alignment of self-development materials with the members' needs and interests. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sampling technique employed is purposive sampling, involving 52 community members from strata 1 and strata 2 as respondents. The research instruments consist of a self-development scale and a motivation scale, each constructed based on predetermined theoretical aspects. The results of validity and reliability tests indicate that the measurement tools used meet statistical requirements. Data analysis using Pearson correlation reveals a significant positive relationship between self-development and motivation (r = 0.230, p = 0.001). These findings indicate that the higher an individual's level of self-development, the higher their motivation to actively participate in the community. This research underscores the importance of designing self-development programs that are aligned with the actual needs of members to enhance their participatory motivation.
