| Abstract: | Penulisan ini berjudul “Peran Public Relations dalam Program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pada Pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil (UMK) di PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Kota Semarang.” Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana peran dan hambatan Public Relations dalam pelaksanaan Program CSR untuk pengembangan UMK di perusahaan tersebut. Jenis penulisan yang dilakukan adalah penulisan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa Public Relations berfungsi sebagai mentor komunikasi, membantu pemimpin UMK dalam meningkatkan pendapatan dan menciptakan lapangan kerja. Selain itu, PR juga terlibat dalam manajemen krisis dan memberikan masukan strategis untuk program CSR. Public Relations berperan sebagai jembatan komunikasi antara perusahaan dan peserta UMK Academy, serta meningkatkan kemampuan UMK dalam menyediakan produk untuk pasar domestik dan internasional. Penulisan ini juga mengidentifikasi strategi yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam PR, seperti memberikan mentoring yang mendukung dan membimbing UMK selama program berlangsung. PR dan CSR PT Pertamina Patra Niaga berupaya menyesuaikan metode komunikasi dan melakukan evaluasi program secara berkala. Peran PR dan CSR Pertamina dalam UMK Academy tidak hanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan perekonomian wirausahawan, tetapi juga menciptakan ekosistem bisnis yang inklusif dan kompetitif. Inisiatif ini membuktikan bahwa kolaborasi antara perusahaan dan masyarakat mampu membawa perubahan positif jangka panjang, memperkuat citra perusahaan, dan meningkatkan nilai di mata masyarakat luas. This research is entitled "The Role of Public Relations in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program for the Development of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Semarang City." The problem raised is how the role and obstacles of Public Relations in the implementation of CSR programs for MSE development in the company. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques that include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that Public Relations functions as a communication mentor, assisting MSE leaders in increasing income and creating jobs. In addition, PR is also involved in crisis management and provides strategic input for CSR programs. Public Relations acts as a communication bridge between companies and MSE Academy participants, as well as improving MSEs' ability to provide products for domestic and international markets. This research also identifies strategies that can be implemented to overcome obstacles in PR, such as providing mentoring that supports and guides MSEs during the Program. PR and CSR of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga strive to adjust communication methods and evaluate programs regularly. Pertamina's PR and CSR role in the MSE Academy not only contributes to improving the entrepreneurial economy, but also creates an inclusive and competitive business ecosystem. This initiative proves that collaboration between companies and the community can bring long-term positive changes, strengthen the company's image, and increase value in the eyes of the wider community. |
