Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Disiplin Kerja Berpengaruh Terhadap Kinerja Personil Direktorat Kepolisian Perairan dan Udara POLDA Sumatera Utara. Masalah difokuskan kepada pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja personil direktorat kepolisian perairan dan udara polda Sumatera Utara. Guna mendekati masalah ini digunakan acuan teori dari Saraswati dan Zulkifli (2023) yang menyatakan kinerja merupakan hasil yang dicapai oleh seorang individu dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, baik dari segi kualitas maupun kuantitas. Kinerja ini mencerminkan sejauh mana individu tersebut dapat memenuhi tanggung jawab yang telah ditugaskan kepadanya, serta kontribusinya terhadap pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 209 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik convinience sampling, yaitu teknik pemilihan sampel yang ditemui secara tidak sengaja dan memenuhi kriteria yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian. Dengan ini didapatkan hasil sampel yang berjumlah 121 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja personil. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0.415 (41.5%). Artinya, sebesar 41.5% variasi kinerja personil dapat dijelaskan oleh disiplin kerja, sementara sisanya sebesar 58.5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam model ini. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun disiplin kerja merupakan faktor penting, masih ada variabel lain seperti motivasi, kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, dan kompetensi individu yang turut berperan dalam membentuk kinerja personil. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline on the performance of personnel at the North Sumatra Regional Police's Water and Air Police Directorate. The problem focused on the influence of work discipline on the performance of personnel at the North Sumatra Regional Police's Water and Air Police Directorate. To approach this problem, a theoretical reference was used from Saraswati and Zulkifli (2023) which states that performance is the result achieved by an individual in carrying out their duties, both in terms of quality and quantity. This performance reflects the extent to which the individual can fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them, as well as their contribution to achieving organizational goals. This research method used a quantitative method with regression analysis. The population in this study was 209 people, using convenience sampling technique, namely the technique of selecting samples found accidentally and meeting the criteria required in the study. This resulted in a sample of 121 people. The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a significant influence on personnel performance. The results of the analysis show a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.415 (41.5%). This means that 41.5% of the variation in personnel performance can be explained by work discipline, while the remaining 58.5% is influenced by other factors not included in this model. This shows that although work discipline is an important factor, there are still other variables such as motivation, leadership, work environment, and individual competence that also play a role in shaping personnel performance.
