This study aims to determine the relationship between work stress and work motivation among employees of PT Sempurna Mitra Perkasa. The background of the study and the objectives of the study are based on the phenomenon of declining work enthusiasm which is thought to be influenced by high levels of stress. The study population was all 40 marketing employees, selected because they have a high workload in achieving sales targets, facing market competition, consumer demands, and intensive work mobility, which have the potential to cause physical and psychological stress. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling method (total sampling), so that all members of the population were sampled. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data were obtained through a closed questionnaire using a four-choice Likert scale. Before use, the research instrument was tested for validity with item-total correlation and reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. Data analysis included normality tests, linearity tests, and Pearson Product Moment correlation tests using SPSS version 27. The results showed a significant negative relationship between work stress and work motivation, with a correlation coefficient value of -0.676 and a significance of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) value is 0.456, which means that work stress contributes 45.6% to the variation in work motivation, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the research.en_US
