Abstract: Kepemimpinan situasional dalam lomunikasi kepemimpinan sangat berperan dalam menentukan kedisiplinan sumber daya manusia dalam organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi kepemimpinan situasional pemimpin perlu memahami dan menyesuaikan gaya komunikasinya berdasrkan situasi yang dihadapi dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengharui kedisiplinan karyawan di Perwakilan BPKP Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari subkoordinasi kepegawaian, kepala bagian umum, Koordinator Pengawasan Kelompok Jabatan Fungsional Auditor Bidang Akuntan Negara 1, Penyedia Layanan Informasi Kehumasan, dan pengola data penyuluhan dan layanan informasi karyawan BPKP Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya komunikasi kepemimpinan situasional dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan karyawan BPKP Provinsi Sumatera Utara adalah kepemimpinan yang memiliki kemampuan dalam hal memberitahukan, menjual ide, partisipasi dan pendelegasian. Kemampuan komunikasi dilakukan berdasarkan situasi dan tingkat kematangan bawahan. Kemudian faktor-faktor yang mempengharui peningkatan kedisiplinan karyawan perwakilan BPKP Provinsi Sumatera Utara adalah adanya teladan pimpinan, waskat, sanksi, dan ketegasan pemimpin. Situational leadership in leadership communication plays a significant role in determining human resource discipline within an organization. This study aims to determine how situational leadership communication requires leaders to understand and adapt their communication style based on the situation at hand and to identify factors that influence employee discipline at the BPKP Representative Office in North Sumatra Province. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the personnel sub-coordination, the Head of General Affairs, the Supervision Coordinator of the Auditor Functional Position Group for Accounting in Country 1, the Public Relations Information Service Provider, and the data processor for employee information and counseling services at BPKP in North Sumatra Province. The results of this study indicate that the situational leadership communication style in improving employee discipline at BPKP in North Sumatra Province is leadership that demonstrates the ability to inform, sell ideas, participate, and delegate. Communication skills are implemented based on the situation and the maturity level of subordinates. Furthermore, factors influencing the improvement of employee discipline at the BPKP representative office in North Sumatra Province include exemplary leadership, supervision, sanctions, and leadership assertiveness.
