| Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan coping stress anak broken home antara laki-laki dan perempuan di SMP Negeri 17 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif. Sampel pada penelitian berjumlah 61 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan model skala likert melalui skala coping stress. Analisis data menggunakan analisis komparatif dengan uji statistic t-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistic t-test maka diketahui = T= 2.718 dengan p = 0.009 < 0,050 menunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan coping stress antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Perhitungan nilai rata-rata hipotetik bernilai 147.500, mean empirik coping stress total bernilai 152.016 dengan SD 14.969 dapat dikategorikan sedang, selanjutnya mean hipotetik coping stress wanita bernilai 147.500 dengan mean empirik coping stress wanita 157.393 dengan SD 16.070 dikategorikan sedang dan mean hipotetik coping stress pria 147.500 dengan mean empirik coping stress pria bernilai 147.455 dengan SD 12.470 dikategorikan sedang. Berdasarkan analisis data, hipotesis dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to determine the differences in stress coping of broken home children between boys and girls at SMP Negeri 17 Medan. This study uses a comparative quantitative approach. The sample in the study amounted to 61 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection used a Likert scale model through a stress coping scale. Data analysis used comparative analysis with a t-test statistical test. Based on the results of data analysis using a t-test statistical test, it is known that = T = 2.718 with p = 0.009 < 0.050 indicates a significant difference in stress coping between boys and girls. The calculation of the hypothetical average value is 147,500, the empirical mean of total coping stress is 152,016 with SD 14,969 which can be categorized as moderate, then the hypothetical mean of women's coping stress is 147,500 with the empirical mean of women's coping stress 157,393 with SD 16,070 which is categorized as moderate and the hypothetical mean of men's coping stress is 147,500 with the empirical mean of men's coping stress is 147,455 with SD 12,470 which is categorized as moderate. Based on the data analysis, the hypothesis is stated to be accepted. |
